Bill Shelow is President and Chief Executive Officer of LifeMark Partners, Inc. He assumed that role in September of 2011. In this role Bill is responsible for the relationships of LifeMark Partners and the company's partner agencies and executing strategies that fuel the growth and status of LifeMark Partners within the industry. Prior to joining LifeMark, Shelow was President of Duncan Financial Group and CEO of Wealth Preservation and Management t/a Atlantic Financial Group, one of LifeMark’s 41 BGAs since 2008. In that role he helped to significantly grow the BGA, increasing revenue fourfold in three years. He also oversaw the management of six other business units of Duncan Financial Group, the parent company of Atlantic Financial Group. He also enjoyed a 25-year career with the Harleysville Insurance Companies, where he spent his last 14 years with Harleysville Life Insurance Company. During that time he headed up sales and marketing as a Senior Vice President and from 2003 to 2008 served as President and COO of Harleysville Life. During this 14-year stretch, Harleysville Life grew direct written premiums significantly. He holds a Bachelors Degree from The Pennsylvania State University in The College of Human Development. He also has earned the designations of CLU, ChFC, CPCU, and LLIF. He has served on the boards of nonprofit organizations and lives in Collegeville with his wife and three of his five children. 
Mark Rosen, CLU, is President of Underwriters Brokerage Service, an independent life and health brokerage agency located in Pittsburgh, PA. His insurance career began in 1978 at Security-Connecticut Life in Hartford for an initial training program, after which he returned to the family business as a marketing associate. Rosen and his firm are founding members of LifeMark Partners, Inc. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board. Rosen has been active in numerous industry organizations. He is a past Chairman of NAILBA, the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies, past President of LIFE, Inc., has served as a member of the board of the local NAIFA chapter, and local chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and is a member of the Estate Planning Council, International Association for Financial Planners, AALU and PLAN. A graduate of Miami University of Ohio, Rosen lives in the Pittsburgh suburb of Mt. Lebanon. He and his wife Georgia are proud parents to Zachary and Rachel.
Christopher G. Greis is the President and founder of Leaders Partners, Inc., North Barrington Illinois. Leaders is a service and distribution company for life insurance professionals and financial advisors, specializing in case design, joint point of sale, and efficient back office processing. It is a member of NAILBA, where Greis is a past chair, and LifeMark Partners Inc., which he co-founded. Prior to forming Leaders Partners, he spent twelve years in underwriting and marketing capacities at the home office and twenty years as a Brokerage General Agent in two prior businesses, both of which he founded. He entered the brokerage business 1981. He holds memberships in the major industry trade organizations and LIFE, Inc. and Risk Appraisal Forum study groups, and is a past President of the Greater Chicago Chapter of Financial Service Professionals. He also currently serves on the field advisory councils of Legal and General America, Transamerica and Mutual of Omaha. He is a frequent author and speaker on industry affairs. Comprehensive Planning owner and Insurance consultant, Derek Archey, holds the primary responsibility for financial services firms and independent broker dealers. He works closely with advisors from firms such as Morgan Stanley, Smith Barney, UBS Financial Services, LPL, SIGMA Financial, and Wells Fargo Advisors. Derek specializes in wealth transfer, retirement, and business succession planning. In June of 1996, Derek began his career with Bloomberg LP in New York where he worked with professionals at all levels of the financial services industry. In 1999, he joined Comprehensive Planning of Troy, MI, and helped the firm grow from a Transamerica branch office into a competitive independent brokerage general agency. Currently, he is one of Comprehensive Planning's principals as well as a past presiident of NAIFA Greater Detroit. Derek holds a Life and Health License, FINRA Series 6 and 63, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP.) In his spare time, Derek enjoys playing guitar by the lake with his wife and 3 children at their home in Northern Michigan.
Douglas A. Mishkin is a third generation insurance professional. Although Doug entered the family industry, he chose a different career path from his father and grandfather, who built one of the nation’s largest multi-line and insurance benefits firms. He started his career as an agent with MassMutual Financial Group and The Guardian Life Insurance Company. In 1993, he moved to the independent channel by joining Bufkin, Hefferon & Siegel, a brokerage general agency in Manhattan, as their Brokerage Manager. He was offered the opportunity to join Algren Associates, Inc. in 1997 and, in 2001, was named President of the firm. In 2006, he assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer when Algren’s founder retired. Doug served as Chairman of the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) in 2008, having previously served as a board member for seven years, and as chair of its membership committee. He was the recipient of the 2009 Stephen A. Kramer Humanitarian Award from the UJA-Federation of New York. In addition, to his NAILBA involvement, Doug is an active member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), LifeMark Partners, Inc., SubCenters (of which he currently serves on their Board of Directors), the Professional Life Advisors Network (PLAN), Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), and TYGERS. Doug is a member of MDRT’s “Top of the Table”, an exclusive forum for the world’s most successful life insurance and financial services professionals. He is also a former Director of the Life & Health Insurance Foundation for Education (LIFE), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping consumers make smart insurance decisions to safeguard their families’ financial future. He has sat on numerous insurance carrier field advisory councils including North American, Genworth, United of Omaha, ING, and MetLife, helping them strengthen and develop product lines and more effectively communicate with their distribution partners. He is frequently quoted and published in financial journals and publications and is an active speaker for national insurance and financial organizations. He has addressed international advisor forums from the Ukraine, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and Western Europe. In his free time, Doug snowboards, coaches his sons in numerous sports, and currently serves as President of the Shore Regional Little League representing kids in the New Jersey shore towns of Sea Bright, Monmouth Beach, Oceanport, and West Long Branch. Doug is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business management. He currently lives in Monmouth Beach, NJ with his wife and two sons.
Tori joined DBS in May of 1993 after graduating from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She, along with her brother Chip Van Dusen, is the second generation to lead their family business. Not only does Tori share ownership, but she is also the Head of Operations. She is responsible for the oversight of New Business, Internal Marketing Associates and all of Support and Services. Tori is also a Registered Principal for the agency. She shares her passion for and knowledge of the industry, like her father, by being active. She currently sits on the advisory council for a few different Insurance Companies and The Leaders Group, a Broker Dealer. She is a current LifeMark Partners Board Member, past President of LIFE, Inc., and has served on numerous NAILBA committees. She is currently serving on the NAILBA Online Education Committee. She lives in Shorewood, Minnesota with her husband Greg and two beautiful children, Parker and Piper. Her spare time is spent mostly with her family but she still finds time for her monthly cooking club, summer golf league, dining with friends and gardening around the house.
Dan Allison is the president and a principal of Brokers Clearing House. He began his career with graduate work in clinical and behavioral psychology. Building on his experience in that industry, he co-founded a firm that eventually employed hundreds of people and served countless families in the Midwest whose children were suffering with serious mental health issues. After selling that company, he started the Feedback Marketing Group and provided consulting services to many of the most successful wealth management companies in the world who sought his advice on building a successful, relationship-driven business and engaging clients in the referral process. Through the Feedback Marketing Group, he has spoken throughout the world as a featured keynote speaker for firms and organizations such as AIG, TD Ameritrade, Dimensional Fund Advisors, the Million Dollar Round Table, and Top of the Table. He is using his industry knowledge as a consultant to transform the Brokers Clearing House brand into a viable solution for advisors in an ever-changing industry. he and his wife of 16 years, Allison Allison, have sons named Ashton and Braxton.
Gonzalo M. Garcia, CLU, is a Partner at AgencyONE Insurance Marketing Group, LLC, where he is responsible for sales support and advanced markets. Prior to joining AgencyONE, he spent two years with Credit Suisse as a Managing Director in the Fixed Income Division's Life Finance Group, where he managed insurance company relations for the Group. Garcia started his career in 1982 and joined current partners, Ed Leisher and Dennis Bartos in 1992 at The Potomac Group in Bethesda, MD, helping grow the business until the sale to The BISYS Group (now Crump Life Insurance Services,) in 1998. He stayed with BISYS holding several senior positions, ultimately ascending to Executive Vice President and a key member of the senior management team before his departure in 2007. Garcia is an active member of The Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU,) serving as Co-Chair on the Brokerage and Independent Distribution Task Force and a member of the AALU Diversity Committee; The Forum400, serving on the Membership Committe, The Program Committee and former Chair of the Industry Partner Committee; The National Association of Independent Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) and The Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP.) Garcia is a regular speaker at industry conferences including The Forum400, The Association of Home Office Underwriters (AHOU) and The Life Insurance Management Research Association (LIMRA.) Garcia attended Rice University in Houston, TX, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984, majorigin in Management Studies and Psychology and subsequently went on to receive an MBA from The College of Insurance (now St. John's University) in New York City, in 1985.
For over 25 years advisors have been turning to Dan Anderson for his knowledge and guidance. Dan is a visionary and trailblazer who set out to change the world of insurance brokerage and he hasn’t looked back since. His innovative thinking and idea of creating a more personal, efficient and seamless execution of wholesale insurance transactions led to the creation of Madison Brokerage. Before starting Madison Brokerage, Dan founded The Insurance Exchange of America, Inc., a national life insurance wholesaler in 1987. He later sold to BISYS, a publicly traded NYSE company in 2001, now CRUMP, which was acquired by BB&T in April 2012. While at BISYS he served as Executive Vice President of National Sales and assisted in acquisitions and development. Dan has been a consultant to prominent insurance carriers concerning distribution and has served on the boards of numerous life insurance companies. Dan currently serves on Advisory Boards for Legal and General, American General & Prudential and is a LifeMark Partners board member. In addition, he is a trustee for the NJ Lymphoma and Leukemia Society and is a sought out, industry speaker.
Leon Huffman is the President of Huffman & Associates, an Orlando, FL based distributor of life, annuity, and LTC products. He started his career in 1972. He has obtained CLU, ChFC, CPCU designations and is an NASD registered principal. He has served on numerous advisory boards for insurance companies. He is past president of Central Florida Chapter of CLU & ChFC, past president of Professional Association of Independent Insurance Distributors, and former board member of FFRL RE-Insurance company.
